The Johann Heinrich von Thünen-Institut ist the Federal Research Institute for Rural Areas, Forestry and Fisheries. My contributions are research projects in image interpretation and optical measurement techniques for plant production. I also contribute to the conception and the service of the IT and the IT network at the vTI.

Trampolining gives fun and it challenges. Since almost 20 years I am a member of the trampoline community, bouncing, coaching, and judging. In the allgemeiner deutscher hochschulsportverband I am the official representative (Disziplinchef) for Trampolining. In the local club TSV Wendezelle I am coaching about forty children from five years on.
